- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
A new program for those wishing to become a veterinarian. The internationally-accredited graduate-entry degree is available to students who have completed a science degree (with the necessary prerequisite subjects). - Master of Veterinary Public Health (Emergency Animal Disease)
A new professional development program that prepares veterinarians, animal scientists and animal health workers so they can contribute effectively in emergency animal disease responses, both in Australia and internationally. The MVPH(EAD) is available to veterinarians with two years experience, and animal scientists and animal health workers with four years relevant experience. - Residency training programs
A new program for veterinarians wishing to work toward specialty registration. The Residency Training programs are available to veterinarians who have completed at least one year’s clinical post BVSc (or equivalent) experience. Entry to the Residency Training program is competitive.
Graduate research programs

- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
A research degree available in any of our research programs, under the governance of the Academic Board and administered through the School of Graduate Research. - Doctor of Veterinary Science (DVSc)
Open to veterinary science graduates (of at least three years standing), who have made substantial published contributions to the field of veterinary science. The publications are put together in the form of a thesis. - Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
An internationally recognised Masters (by research) degree, available in any of our research programs. - Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc)
Research training, based on the conduct of experiments under appropriate supervision, within a selected field of veterinary science. - Master of Veterinary Science: Submission of a Collection of Papers for Examination
Applicants who have completed approved scientific research while not enrolled in the MVSc at the University, may apply for a MVSc to be awarded for that research. - Master of Veterinary Science (Clinical) (MVSc)
Research training, based on the conduct of experiments under appropriate supervision, within a clinical discipline of veterinary science. - Honours in Veterinary Bioscience
Honours is a fourth-year program which gives you the opportunity to draw together your previous science, biomedical or health science studies and focus your knowledge, skills and intellect on an exciting piece of original research.

Avian Health Online™ - Postgraduate certificate and masters
A specialist and interactive online course for veterinarians working in the general poultry industry worldwide, available as a postgraduate certificate or masters program. Presented in collaboration with the Poultry Disease Research Centre, University of Georgia, USA.
