Doctor of Veterinary Medicine scholarships
A number of scholarships are available for students in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, to assist with study and living expenses, and the costs associated with undertaking veterinary placements.
- Noble Stewart-Hamilton Scholarship (closes late January each year)
- Rural Veterinary Student's Scholarship (closes late January each year)
- Rural Finance Scholarships (closes 31 May each year)
- Gardiner Foundation Dairy Scholarship (closed for 2010)
- Trinity College Residential Scholarship (expressions of interest, please enquire)
- Richard Dixon Memorial Scholarship - provided by the Australian Alpaca Association (closes 30 June each year)
- Elmore Charity Ball Rural Scholarship (closes late January each year)
University of Melbourne scholarships
Scholarships for graduate courses covering tuition or living expenses are available through the Melbourne Scholarships Office.
Residential college scholarships are also offered by the University. The Dr Daniel Murnane Scholarship is open to students residing at Ormond College.
International students may also be eligible for scholarships offered by their home country for study at the University of Melbourne.
Other scholarships
The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore offers scholarships for Singaporean students for the study of veterinary science.
International students should consult organisations within their home country or government to investigate further scholarship opportunities.
