Research scholarships

Bayer Fellowship Program

A series of scholarships for students and trainees in scientific, technical and medical disciplines are available for study in Germany.

Eligible projects include extra-curricular study courses, research residences, internships, clinical practices for doctors, and traineeships for science teachers. Further selection criteria include good study grades, a detailed project plan with confirmation from the host institution about the project needs, and individual commitment to society (for example involvement in social or cultural projects).

The current application period is open now until July 15. Students (up to PhD level) and recent graduates (until 2 years after graduation) are invited to apply online (for further information visit Bayer International).

University of Melbourne scholarships

The University has scholarships available for graduates interested in pursuing the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science or Master of Veterinary Science. In addition, the University has a range of travel scholarship opportunities for graduate students to enable them to travel to national and/or international conferences or to spend a part of their study period overseas.

The Melbourne Scholarships Office also offers the W.E.J. Craig Travelling Scholarship for graduates planning to undertake research/studies in animal husbandry at an overseas tertiary institution.
