
Major Norman MacDonald, Australian Army Veterinary Corps (20 August, 1914 - 17 March, 1917) was Veterinary Officer with the 2nd Field Artillery Brigade. He was accidentally injured and invalided to Australia. He was registered with the Veterinary Board of Victoria on 20 July, 1904. He held the Chair in Veterinary Science following the resignation of JA Gilruth in 1912, until the arrival of Professor HA Woodruff from England in 1913. He was listed as a member of the Australian Veterinary Association from 1928-1950, living at Bella Vista, Casterton, Victoria.
