Matson, Thomas R, LVSc 1909, BVSc 1912
Thomas R Matson served as a trooper in the Boer War, after which he completed his veterinary degrees. He served as a Lt. Colonel with the Australian Army Veterinary Corps in Gallipoli, France and Belgium, earning a DSO. He was Assistant Director of Veterinary Services, 1st Australian Division, Assistant Director of Veterinary Services 1st Anzac Division, and Acting Director of Veterinary Services for the Australian Army Veterinary Corps in France. He was listed as a member of the Australian Veterinary Association in 1925 at Victoria Barracks, Sydney.
