Talbot, Robert John deCourcey, LVSc 1911, BVSc 1923

Major Robert John deCourcey Talbot, Army Veterinary Corps (12 March, 1915 - 19 April, 1919) was in charge of surgery at the Australian Army Veterinary Hospital at Calais, France. He spent most or all of his post-war years in the Department of Agriculture, Victoria and was eventually Chief Veterinary Inspector. He was President of the Veterinary Association of Victoria in 1933-34 and the Australian Veterinary Association from 1936-38, and a member of the Veterinary Board of Victoria from 1936-1957.
