
In its meeting of 5 August, 1918, the Veterinary Board of Victoria denied Stanley Whitworth registration until he reached the age of 21 years. He joined the AIF on 26 August, 1918 at age 20 and served as Captain in 4th Light Horse Brigade, 13th Light Horse Regiment in France. He was finally registered on 21 September, 1922. He joined the Colonial Veterinary Service and became Director of Veterinary Research and Veterinary Adviser to the Federated Malay States.
