She has been active in AVA activities in South Australia on the Divisional Committee and the Small Animal Practitioners Branch, and nationally as an AVA Director and a Policy Councillor. She received an AVA Meritorious Service Award in 1994; a Fellow of the AVA in 2000. President of the AVA in 1995.
