With a background in veterinary science and business management, Lyndy has worked predominantly in livestock practice, at Murdoch University, been Animal Welfare Consultant to the Australian Veterinary Association, was Commercial and Program Manager for Australian Pork Limited and Programs’ Business Manager for Animal Health Australia. She is currently a consultant on animal health, welfare, production and research topics and is a member of the Quarantine and Exports Advisory Council.

Previous AVA Board member; President AVA ACT Division; ACT Animal Welfare Advisory Committee; Current member of AVA WA Division and Trustee of the Veterinary Benevolent Fund and Animal Welfare Trust of the AVA.

AVA Meritorious Service Award 2002; Ian Miller Medal for service to WA veterinarians; WA Businesswoman of the Year, Telstra awards 1992.
