BVSc (Syd 1949). She was the New Zealand Veterinary Association's first woman President and became Vice-President of the World Veterinary Association. She spent most of her career with Tasman Vaccine Laboratory, later ICI Tasman. She was a major force in establishing the credibility of veterinarians in industry.
