Weston, Jenny

Dr Jenny Weston was appointed to the SA Board in August 1995 and remained a Member until August 2004.  From September 2004 she was re-appointed as a Deputy Board Member until 2007, and in 2006 was also appointed as a Hospital Inspector for the Board. During her long association with the Board, Dr Weston has contributed her expertise to many issues for the Board, including the development of standards and codes of practice.  She is a strong advocate for raising the standards, and the professional standing of the profession.

Dr Weston is a senior practitioner, and manages a practice in the metropolitan area of Adelaide.  She was President, AVA South Australia Division  and is the media spokesperson for the AVA, raising the profile of the profession in South Australia through regular appearances on the radio.   She received the AVA Meritorious Service Award in 1998.
