The Faculty of Veterinary Science offers a range of graduate courses.
How to apply
It is important that research students contact a prospective supervisor before they apply. Applicants should familiarize themselves with entry requirements and scholarships information then view the list of current research opportunities and contact the relevant academic staff member before applying.
International Students
All international students applying for a graduate course apply to the International Admissions Office by completing an Application for Admission- International Graduate Student.
This form can be completed online or downloaded from the web.
International students will find important information at the international Admissions Office website including How to Apply, Tuition Fees and English Language Requirements.
Local Students
Local students apply directly to the Faculty of Veterinary Science. for the following courses:
- Graduate Certificate in Avian Health
- Master of Veterinary Studies
- Master of Veterinary Science

Local students applying for a
- Master of Science
- PhD
An application form can be downloaded from the School of Graduate Studies.
Closing Dates
Research applications (MVSc & PhD) will be considered at any time but normally should be made prior to scholarship timelines see Melbourne Scholarships Office.
