The Melbourne School of Veterinary Science will continue to seek out the best and brightest students from around the globe, drawing them to the School with our unique resources and educational experience, and helping them overcome geographical barriers and financial hardships.
In order to achieve this we need to create a number of scholarships and bursaries for veterinary science students to help them achieve their dreams, regardless of their personal circumstances.
Scholarships and bursaries are also needed to train postgraduate research students, so that our outstanding research continues to advance animal and human health worldwide.
How can your donation help?
Our scholarships and bursaries are designed to ensure that a diverse range of students are able to take full advantage of all the educational opportunities offered by the Melbourne School of Veterinary Science. Scholarships and bursaries reduce the financial burden of extramural (work placement) training on farms and in veterinary practices for our trainee veterinarians, and enable them to work with diverse species of animals in environments that they may not otherwise experience. Research scholarships and bursaries enhance the research experience of our postgraduate students, providing opportunities to visit international laboratories and conferences.
